Understand what triggers your anger
Stay calm under pressure
Respond instead of react
Communicate more effectively
Build better relationships at home, work, and in your community

While your group facilitator is a registered clinical counsellor, he will not be acting as your personal counsellor in this setting. Instead, this is an educational and behavioural health program grounded in the standards of the National Anger Management Association (NAMA).
This group is designed to provide evidence-based information, practical skills, strategies, accountability, and support—all aimed at helping you understand and manage anger more effectively.
Each session includes guided discussions about your experiences with anger, but the focus is on learning and practical application.
You’ll have the opportunity to reflect, share, and learn in a supportive group environment. This group is about building self-awareness, improving emotional regulation, and making lasting change.

Paul Izenberg is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. He is also a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS II) recognized by the National Anger Management Association (NAMA).
Paul brings over two decades of experience in mindfulness and meditation, which deeply inform his approach to emotional regulation and self-awareness. He integrates this background with evidence-based psychological tools to offer a well-rounded, practical, and compassionate pathway to growth.
In this group, Paul steps into the role of educator and facilitator to guide participants through a structured, skills-based program. His approach is down-to-earth, respectful, and non-judgmental. He believes that anger is not a personal flaw but an important signal with something to tell us—and with the right tools and support, it can be understood and transformed into clarity, confidence, and connection.
Whether you’re here by choice or by requirement, Paul’s goal is to help you build the self-awareness and practical skills you need to manage anger in a way that works for your life.
